"Majestically poised high atop a hill in the beautiful Mary Valley, Amamoor Homestead B&B and Country Cottages offers the ultimate in rural relaxation and rustic charm.
The Homestead is located between the village of Amamoor and the township of Kandanga 23 km south of Gympie.
The Homestead nestles on 32 acres and is “a graceful resting place on the bend in the creek”, where the peace and tranquillity are inspired by the gentle breezes, azure blue skies and birdsong.
A friendly and informal atmosphere affords you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the glorious views, abundant bird and wildlife and hearty home-cooked meals."

"Amamoor Homestead B&B" offers visitors a variety of Birdwatching experiences!
Leisurely "Bird" through the well tended gardens, or for a more strenuous early morning activity, climb the hill behind the Homestead for a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside, while "Birding" along a well forested gully serving as a corridor linking lower remnants.
This gully merges to an extensive remnant adjoining the Homestead property; a walk along the fenceline will offer more opportunities for additions to the overall list.
"Step out" for an early morning or late afternoon walk to "Bird" along the roadside verge bordering this remnant, while enjoying the view and Birdlife along the roadside opposite!

Excursion ends at a small clearing on the left
Verge width narrows considerably beyond this point

Brown Quail, Tawny Grassbird, Golden-headed Cisticola, Dusky Honeyeater, Scarlet Honeyeater, Little Lorikeet, Australian King Parrot, Little Shrike-thrush, Grey Shrike-thrush, White-eared Monarch, Leaden Flycatcher
